This is a 1970 Atlantic City, NJ Boardwalk Bronze Centennial Medal, commemorating 100 years of the Atlantic City Boardwalk, which was established in 1870. The medal was designed by George Andrews of Wilmington, Delaware. It was produced by the Lombardo Mint in Canada. The obverse (front) of the coin depicts a scene from the old boardwalk, featuring bathhouses, people in period attire, a horse-drawn wagon, and bathers by the ocean. The text "ATLANTIC CITY BOARDWALK" is along the top rim, and "1870 CENTENNIAL 1970" is at the 3 o'clock position. The reverse side of the medal features the seal of Atlantic City, encircled by the text "CITY OF ATLANTIC CITY INCORPORATED MARCH 1854". The medal weighs .822 ounces/23.3 grams. Its diameter is 1.5 inches. It is naturally toned.
